It is one of 23 Regional Councils of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). Last year, SMSDC’s Corporate Members spent more than $8 billion dollars with minority businesses. Our 511 minority businesses employed more than 34,000 people, of which 21,000 were the minority. Its corporate members represent 18 different industries from advertising and automotive manufacturing, to steel production and high technology.
